A pilgrimage from Aduard to Aix-la-Chapelle (Aacken).

Palster ende Scerpe is the name of a group of people who made a pilgimage from Aduard in the North of the Netherlands to Aix-la-Chapelle a.k.a Aacken, the city founded by Charlemagne. They want to do this pilgrimage as it would have been done in the year 1208 (800 years ago). The purpose od this pilgrimage is to experiance what it most have been like to make such a pilgrimage in the mediaeval period. They want to show the people how this much unknown part of mediaeval life must have been like.

But most of all, they want to collect money for MS Research.

Blue made reports on the days that she was able to visit and photograph the pilgrims during their three week pilgrimage. The group also has a site of their own but it is in Dutch only: Palster ende Scerpe
